70 years on ice can really cool a man’s libido. Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) spends his days both dodging bullets as a superpowered superspy, and dodging the matchmaking activities of his partner, Natasha Romanov (Scarlett Johansson), who seems hell-bent on finding him a date! Sparks fly when Steve meets Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), a hunky veteran and social worker with a heart of gold. Will true love win out? Or will it be shot down in a spray of bullets from Steve’s back-from-the-dead assassin ex-boyfriend (Sebastian Stan)?
This summer … everybody’s gonna get a little Freezer Burn.
What an accurate summation of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (at least in my mind). #whistles innocently
(Not pictured: “Butt window”, but trust me, it’s there.)
You have no idea how much this cheered me up just now.
I for one, think this is a major improvement. Look how empowered he is! And it’s relevant to the character as someone who is powered by the sun, he’d want to maximize the amount of sunlight he receives, right? It’s not like it makes sense for him to cover himself from chin to toe. In fact, I think some strappy sandals might be an improvement.
Man, so this is hilarious but also really painful. How many POC can recall bringing their own ethnic food to school for lunch and getting made fun of? There was no way in hell I wanted to be caught eating Mexican left overs at school and my mom remembers feeling ashamed bringing tacos for lunch. This type of shame and internalized racism hits deeeep.
Wow, as a POC from an immigrant family, this gifset is way too relatable.
We went to this burger place for lunch and the walls were papered with rolling stones covers and it just really becomes obvious when you see lots of magazine covers next to each other that men are treated as people and women are treated as objects.
